Projects
Getting a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Studies -- an interdisciplinary major that explores the connections between digital technology, critical analysis, production, and innovation -- requires the completion of a well-designed series of courses that encompass every skill that may come of use in a future job as a designer.
Below are some projects that I completed in those courses.
Cat Academy
Game Designer & Developer
This is a community-engaged, year-long project in which our 5-person team collaborated with Pawsitive Cat Cafe in downtown Rochester to help them grow their business. I am in charge of designing and developing an educational virtual pet game that helps players learn how to take care of cats. Do you really know what's best for your furry friend? Shades of Justice
Game Designer & Developer
During this semester-long original project, I worked singlehandedly to design and develop a text-based murder mystery game using Twine. Focusing on narrative depth and player choice, the game features intricate branching storylines that change based on player decisions, leading to multiple unique endings. Locked In
Level Designer
Collaborating with three other classmates from Video Game Design class, we produced a point-and-click escape room game with a retro, pixelated art style, using Game Maker Studio 2. The game contains 3 different levels, ranging from dungeon to armory. Be careful not to get caught on your way to freedom!
